so last night on GP...

no, not Groove Parlor...

i'm talking about Gilles Peterson, tastemaker and international DJ on BBC Radio 1

he gave Chicago-bred production wizard Tall Black Guy some well deserved shine on his award winning radio show - playlist here.  a Fela inspired beat - one of many from him that have made the rounds on well respected blogs like SoundRotation,  BamaLoveSoul and SoulBounce and radio shows Morpheus Soul on playvybz.com, Black Athena on Athens Int'l Radio and Songs of Praise on Space Invader Radio.

thanks to his lovely wife ( also his promotion + marketing genius ) Mrs. Chaka B, we featured him on our blog in November as his MJ suite blew us away. we continue to feature him on our fortnightly Space Invader Radio show. shout out to the Beat Inn on Facebook as well, a great networking site for producers, DJs and folks that wanna play/hear good indie music!

good music + great promotion always gets through!

...and i'll say it again gentlemen. it PAYS to put a RING on it.
